KYB PSVD2-17E-23 PISTON PUMP Full Specification
1. Product Introduction
PSVD2-17E-23 is an integrated variable Hydraulic piston pump manufactured by Japan KYB, serving as the original main hydraulic pump for 4-5.5 ton mini excavators. It combines main pumping unit, built-in pilot gear pump and electronic proportional solenoid valve in one assembly, supplying main hydraulic power and pilot control oil for the complete machine’s whole hydraulic system. Equipped with LS load sensing & constant horsepower compound control, it automatically adjusts displacement according to working load to stabilize the performance of the entire hydraulic system, widely fitted on Yanmar VIO45/VIO50/VIO55 excavators.

5. Working Principle
Driven by engine shaft, the cylinder block and pistons rotate to deliver hydraulic oil. Swashplate angle changes to adjust flow output of the hydraulic pump. LS sensor detects real-time load pressure to optimize pump displacement, and the electronic solenoid receives ECU signals for fine flow regulation. The built-in pilot pump feeds control oil to distribution valves to form a full functional hydraulic system. Constant horsepower limiter prevents engine stall under heavy load and protects the Hydraulic piston pump.
