The salad washing and dewatering production line mainly consists of a special salad washing machine and a centrifugal vegetable dryer spinner. This vegetable processing line is designed for leafy ingredients such as lettuce, endive, spinach and basil. The vegetable washing machine generates air bubbles to agitate the water flow, washing away sediment, dust and all kinds of debris on the vegetable surface. Sediments pass through filter screens and fall into the sludge collection area at the bottom of the washing tank. Ozone is injected during washing to disinfect fruits and vegetables simultaneously. After washing, the produce is conveyed out by an elevating belt. While being lifted, high-pressure nozzles above the belt spray clean water for secondary thorough cleaning.

Once cleaned, the materials are transferred to the commercial lettuce dryer for dewatering, which rapidly removes surface moisture and completes pre-treatment for subsequent processing procedures. Equipped with a PLC programmable logic controller, this salad spin dryer allows operators to adjust dewatering speed and duration according to different raw materials.
