Overhead Line Singel Stringing Traveler

This OHL single stringing traveler is a forged aluminum single-sheave suspension tool with built-in insulators designed for the safe single conductor and OPGW overhead tension stringing on high voltage transmission lines in proper weather conditions. Fabricated from lightweight high strength aluminum alloy with thin wall, high quality neoprene buffer strips as liner, this MARSHINE Conductor Traveler reduces pulling friction to minimize micro-scratches on the surface of fragile ACSR and optical cables during long span pulling. With a spring-locked safety hanging hook suitable for hot stick operation, this suspension stringing block enables technicians to remotely attach and remove the unit without the need to climb near live wires.

This suspension stringing block is rated for a safe working load of 20kn, so it can be used for single conductors up to a cross-sectional area of 500mm²used for 110kv to 500kv power transmission projects.

The single aluminum sheave has an outer diameter of 660mm and features a 100mm width curved groove that can accommodate wire outer diameters from 12mm to 30mme, it can be used with all standard OPGW, ADSS and overhead steel-cored aluminum conductors.

The total weight of the MARSHINE Suspension Stringing Block is only 5.8 kg, which is light enough for one technician to lift and install onto tower crossarm suspension points without the aid of lifting winches.

The hot-dip galvanized steel hanging frame withstands against rust and distortion after being used outdoors for several years, while the spring safety latch auto-locks as it gets hanged up to prevents the pulley from slipping off crossarms due to the strong wind during construction weather.

The overhead line single stringing traveler offers an end to end insulated wire support solution for the new overhead tension stringing within the river-crossing long spans.

This stringing traveler allows live conductors to be isolated from the metalwork of tower during live-line construction works in rural power grids renovation.

It provides a low friction guide for OPGW and single ACSR conductors in mountainous power corridor areas.

This MARSHINE Suspension Cable Pulley is the best choice to preserve conductor surface when apply batch large-section wire in the round, traction fric- tion is inevitable and a lot of damage could be made on conductor surface.

The running block allows for an easier hot stick set up for remote live-line stringing without the worker being able to get close to an energized section of cable.
