Yuken EFBG-06 Electro-hydraulic Proportional Compound Valve
1. Product Overview
Yuken EFBG-06 electro-hydraulic proportional compound valve, also known as proportional pressure & flow compound valve (PQ valve), is an integrated high-performance hydraulic control component manufactured by Japan Yuken. This valve combines the functions of proportional flow control valve and proportional relief valve in one unit. It can continuously and linearly adjust the system pressure and flow independently according to external electrical signals, realizing precise speed and pressure regulation for actuators in the hydraulic system.
Built with pressure compensation and temperature compensation mechanism, it keeps stable output flow free from the influence of load fluctuation and hydraulic oil temperature change. Adopting energy-saving inlet throttling design, it only supplies the minimum pressure and flow required by loads, effectively reducing power loss and heat generation. Standard plate mounting structure ensures interchangeability for original Yuken spare parts, widely adopted in medium and large automatic hydraulic equipment.
Yuken EFBG‑06 Electro‑hydraulic Proportional Compound Valve is a high‑precision integrated Hydraulic valve manufactured by Yuken. It combines proportional pressure regulation and proportional flow control in one unit. Matched with the hydraulic pump, it precisely regulates pressure and flow output for the whole hydraulic system. Widely applied to various industrial Machine, this component supports closed‑loop remote electric control, suitable for new‑equipment assembly, system upgrade and aftermarket replacement

3. Working Principle
Two groups of proportional electromagnets receive analog control signals separately. One signal controls the flow spool to adjust output flow of the hydraulic system, the other signal controls the relief spool to set the maximum working pressure.
The built-in pressure compensator maintains constant differential pressure at the throttle opening to guarantee stable flow output under varying loads. The temperature compensator offsets viscosity changes of hydraulic oil caused by temperature variation. The valve automatically tracks load pressure and maintains a tiny differential pressure between pump outlet and load, minimizing overflow energy consumption of the hydraulic system. When system pressure exceeds the preset value, the relief function activates to provide overload protection.
4. Core Advantages
1. Integrated dual proportional control, independent adjustment of pressure and flow, simplifying hydraulic circuit layout.
2. Energy-saving structure, greatly reducing heat generation and lowering operating costs for long-running equipment.
3. Pressure & temperature compensation design, outstanding control stability and high repeat accuracy.
4. Low-noise pilot valve structure, smooth valve switching without hydraulic shock.
5. Standard installation dimensions, direct replacement for original Yuken valves during equipment overhaul.
6. Compact integrated structure, saving installation space of hydraulic stations.
5. Application Range
This proportional compound valve serves as core control element of the hydraulic system, widely used in injection molding machines, die-casting machines, hydraulic presses, CNC machinery and other medium & large automated hydraulic equipment requiring multi-stage pressure and stepless speed regulation.
6. Common Faults & Replacement Suggestion
Typical failures: unstable actuator speed, failing to reach target system pressure, proportional response delay, oil leakage from mounting surface. Check the matching proportional amplifier and oil cleanliness first; replace the complete valve assembly if internal spool wear occurs.
