3. Working Principle
System pressure oil enters the valve body and acts on the lower end of the main spool. Part of the oil flows through the damping orifice to the pilot valve chamber. When system pressure exceeds the preset value, the pilot poppet opens. Pressure difference is generated on both sides of the main spool, pushing the main spool upward. Excess hydraulic oil flows back to the tank, limiting the maximum pressure of the hydraulic system. When system pressure drops below the setting value, the pilot valve and main valve close automatically to maintain stable circuit pressure.
