Automotive ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) lenses are critical components of intelligent visual perception systems in vehicles. They primarily capture information about the vehicle's surroundings, providing precise and reliable visual data for autonomous driving, intelligent driving assistance, and safety warning systems. These lens modules—comprising optical lenses, image sensors (CMOS), filters, structural components, and electronic control units—enable the real-time recognition of objects such as roads, vehicles, pedestrians, and traffic signs.

Forward-facing ADAS lenses are central to the vehicle's visual perception system. Typically mounted near the windshield, they identify lane markings, traffic signals, vehicles, and pedestrians, enabling functions such as Lane Departure Warning (LDW), Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB), and Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC). These lenses require high resolution, high dynamic range, and excellent long-range recognition capabilities.

Surround-view camera modules typically consist of multiple wide-angle lenses. By utilizing multi-camera image fusion technology, they provide a 360-degree panoramic view of the vehicle's surroundings, effectively reducing blind spots. They are widely used in automatic parking, low-speed driving assistance, and vehicle safety monitoring.

Side-view and rear-view lens modules are primarily used to monitor the environment to the sides and rear of the vehicle, supporting functions such as lane-change alerts, reversing cameras, and blind-spot monitoring. These lenses usually feature wide-angle designs and offer robust shock resistance, waterproofing, and weather durability.

Compared to standard consumer-grade lenses, automotive ADAS lenses demand higher reliability and must meet stringent automotive industry environmental standards. These products typically feature wide operating temperature ranges, high light transmission, low distortion, high impact resistance, and long-term operational stability. Furthermore, the use of optical coating technologies, multi-element glass lens designs, and precision assembly processes effectively enhances visual performance in night-time conditions, backlit environments, and adverse weather.
