Hydraulic Variable Vane Pump
1. Product Overview
The hydraulic variable vane pump is a positive-displacement hydraulic power component widely used in open-circuit industrial hydraulic systems. Different from fixed displacement pumps, it can automatically adjust displacement and output flow by changing the eccentricity between rotor and stator ring.
Equipped with built-in pressure compensator, the pump realizes low-pressure large flow and high-pressure small flow operation, effectively reducing overflow loss, lowering power consumption and oil temperature.
Common series include VP, VVP, VCM, SVPF, PV7 etc. Single pump, double tandem pump types are available. High-quality interchange aftermarket pumps can replace original pumps for machinery maintenance and supporting assembly.

3. Working Principle
Driven by the motor, the rotor rotates, vanes stretch out under centrifugal force to closely contact the inner surface of stator ring.
1. Oil suction: The sealed volume between vanes gradually expands, absorbing hydraulic oil from suction port.
2. Oil discharge: The sealed volume shrinks continuously, squeezing pressurized oil out from outlet port.
3. Variable adjustment: When system pressure reaches set value, built-in compensator pushes the movable stator ring to reduce eccentricity between rotor and stator. Pump displacement decreases automatically to cut unnecessary flow output, maintaining system constant pressure.

6. Common Faults & Replacement Suggestion
Typical failures: System pressure cannot rise, unstable pressure, abnormal noise, excessive oil temperature, shaft seal leakage.
Keep hydraulic oil clean to avoid impurities scratching vanes and stator inner surface. Adjust pressure according to equipment requirements, do not exceed rated working pressure. Replace complete pump assembly if internal stator, vanes suffer serious wear.
