Prepainted PVDF Rusted Grain Steel Aluminum

This material consists of a galvanized or Galvalume steel substrate with a printed rust-effect finish and a protective organic coating. The rust texture is reproduced through a surface printing process and does not indicate actual corrosion of the base metal. For interior wall applications, a polyester coating may be sufficient; for exterior roofing and cladding, a PVDF coating is recommended due to its superior weather resistance and UV stability. The product is suited to industrial or vintage-style architectural designs and can be used as a decorative cladding solution for roofs and walls.

For outdoor use, the substrate should have a metallic coating weight of at least AZ150 to support corrosion resistance. The PVDF coating should contain at least 70% fluorine, and the material should withstand over 1000 hours of neutral salt spray testing without rust formation. After 1000 hours of xenon arc aging, discoloration should be no lower than Grade 2. The surface should be flat and uniform, with good coating hardness and adhesion. These quality indicators help ensure long-term outdoor performance and resistance to fading, peeling, and premature deterioration.
