Not automatically. A wider or longer pear changes the meeting point, side-stone angle and total face width. The pair should be tested beside the selected center measurements before reuse.

How should two tapered baguettes be matched?

Match the length, inner width, outer width, depth, taper angle and face-up step pattern. Equal carat weights do not guarantee a mirrored result.

What should be inspected around the pear point?
