Oval Green Lab Grown Diamond Pavé Ring Design

The Accent Diamonds Belong to the Profile
FLGR-05 is an 18K white gold solitaire built around a 2.01 carat Fancy Vivid Green oval lab-grown diamond. Four claws secure the center, the shoulders remain polished, and approximately 0.08 carat of small diamonds is concentrated beneath the stone in the gallery rather than across the top of the band.
That placement gives the product two different readings. From above, the oval remains visually independent. From the side, the diamond-set gallery adds a narrow line of light below the girdle. For a private-label project, the main approval decision is therefore not whether to add more sparkle, but how much of the gallery should remain visible at normal wearing angles.
Face-up identity: plain-shoulder green oval solitaire
Side-view identity: raised four-claw basket with a diamond-set gallery
Buyer decision: balance halo visibility, setting height and band clearance before CAD approval
Certified Center: 1.43 Oval Ratio
IGI report LG713525138 records an Oval Modified Brilliant measuring 9.42 x 6.57 x 4.21 mm. Its length-to-width ratio is approximately 1.43, giving the center an elongated outline without making the shoulders appear excessively narrow beside the stone.
The diamond is graded 2.01 carats, Fancy Vivid Green and VVS2, with yellow noted as a secondary color. Polish and symmetry are graded Very Good, fluorescence is Very Slight, and the report identifies HPHT growth with indications of post-growth treatment.
These grading details apply to the inscribed center diamond. They do not grade the 0.08 carat gallery diamonds, verify the finished 18K gold mounting or define the final ring size. The center report number should remain linked to the same stone through stone setting, photography and shipment.
Set the Gallery Visibility Before Setting the Stone
A hidden halo is not controlled by total melee weight alone. Its visual result depends on the gallery diameter, the angle of the small stones, the height of the oval above the shoulder line and the amount of metal left between the center basket and the halo seats.
Low profile: keeps the halo less exposed and reduces the gap below the center, but may leave less clearance for a straight wedding band.
Balanced profile: allows the gallery diamonds to appear from an oblique angle while retaining a moderate center height.
Raised profile: increases side visibility and stacking clearance, but changes the center of gravity and requires additional basket support review.
The photographed sample should be treated as one approved profile, not a universal mounting for every oval. A change in center depth or girdle position can alter the visible halo line even when the replacement diamond has a similar length and width.
A Straight Band Is Not Automatically Flush
The polished shoulders rise toward the center basket, and the gallery occupies space below the oval. A buyer planning a matching wedding band should review the lowest gallery point, the shoulder rise and the available gap beside the setting before describing the ring as stackable.
A straight band may sit with a controlled gap. A contoured band can follow the basket more closely. Raising the setting may create additional clearance, but it also changes the side profile that distinguishes this model. These options should be compared in CAD rather than promised from the front image alone.
For a related green center with pave shoulders rather than a diamond-set gallery, compare the 2.01ct green cushion pave solitaire. The two pages serve different product positions: one places accents on the shank, while LFGR-05 keeps the shank plain and moves the accent light below the center.
FLGR-05 Sample Record
Center: 2.01 ct Fancy Vivid Green VVS2 oval lab-grown diamond, 9.42 x 6.57 x 4.21 mm
Report: IGI LG713525138; HPHT; indications of post-growth treatment; secondary color yellow
Finish: Very Good polish, Very Good symmetry and Very Slight fluorescence
Accent diamonds: approximately 0.08 ct in the gallery area
Approximate total diamond weight: 2.09 ct
Metal: 18K white gold
Sample weight and size: approximately 3.44 g; workshop size 14
Setting: four-claw oval basket, open side profile and polished shoulders
Order support: MOQ 1 piece; initial CAD normally within 48 hours; production normally 7-12 working days after approval
Other certified center directions can be reviewed in the green lab diamond collection. Changes to oval ratio, depth or color direction should be evaluated together with the basket height and gallery diameter.
Release the Ring with Two Separate Image Sets
The face-up QC set should confirm oval alignment, equal claw position and a clean transition into both polished shoulders. The profile QC set should confirm center height, continuous gallery spacing, even melee exposure and sufficient clearance below the pavilion.
For repeat orders, retain the report number, actual center measurements, basket height, gallery outside diameter, melee size range, shoulder rise, finished ring size and front/side reference images. This makes the side-view feature reproducible even when another two-carat oval is selected.
Buyer Questions for This Side-View Setting
Are the 0.08ct accent diamonds visible from above?
The supplied images show a clean face-up solitaire. The small diamonds are positioned below the oval and are mainly visible from side and oblique viewing angles.
Can the setting be lowered without removing the gallery diamonds?
A lower version can be assessed, but the pavilion clearance, halo angle and wedding-band gap must be recalculated. Lowering the center is not only a claw adjustment.
Can another 2.01ct oval use the same CAD?
Only after comparing its length, width, depth, girdle and ratio with the approved center. Similar carat weight does not guarantee the same gallery exposure or claw seating.
Choose the profile before requesting the quotation. In your FLGR-05 project message, state Profile L for lower exposure, Profile B for the photographed balance, or Profile R for additional stacking clearance. Include the selected center measurements and ring-size range so the CAD scope can be priced against one clear side-view direction.
