SHF08-227 X.Y is an 08-port bidirectional normally-open threaded cartridge valve (X.Y stands for custom variant suffix for fine tuning of flow/structure). It belongs to the mainstream 08-series hydraulic insert valve family, fully interchangeable with HSV/DHF series 08 valves and HP08-00 manual pumps. The valve stays bidirectionally open at power-off and closes both flow paths when energized, widely used for load holding, circuit locking and directional switching in compact mobile hydraulic systems.

3. Working Principle

Under power-off condition, the internal spring keeps the poppet unsealed to allow unrestricted two-way oil circulation between ports. When the matched solenoid coil is energized, electromagnetic force pushes the spool/poppet to block both inlet and outlet passages, cutting bidirectional flow instantly. Power failure resets the spring to reopen the circuit, delivering fail-safe unlocking performance for machinery.
