Birthday Blooms in a Vase Pop-Up Card opens to reveal a watercolour-style bouquet arranged inside a soft blue vase. Pink anemones, yellow daffodils, blue flowers and smaller spring blossoms are layered with green leaves to create a full floral display. Butterflies rest among the petals, while the “Happy Birthday” message rises beside the bouquet. The pale green background and lightly scattered petals keep the overall appearance soft and open rather than filling every part of the card with decoration.
LED lighting is integrated into the floral scene to highlight selected areas of the bouquet when the card is opened. The light position can be arranged behind the flowers, around the vase or within suitable parts of the background, depending on the approved artwork. Music may also be added as an optional function, but it is not included as a standard feature unless confirmed for the project. The combination of watercolour artwork, dimensional flowers and lighting gives this floral birthday pop up card a decorative quality suitable for display after the birthday celebration.

The bouquet is built from several printed paper layers rather than individual three-dimensional paper flowers. Larger pink blossoms form the front and middle sections, while the yellow, blue and smaller flowers fill the upper and side areas. The vase supports the lower part of the arrangement and helps conceal the structural connections. This layered approach preserves the soft watercolour appearance while giving the flower vase pop up card enough depth to be viewed from the front and at an angle. The opened card can be placed on a desk, shelf, bedside table or birthday display. Unlike a real bouquet, it does not require water or care and can remain as part of the recipient’s birthday keepsakes.
Customization Options
LOGO customization includes printing the buyer’s logo on the card back, matching envelope, barcode label, sticker or retail packaging. CONTENT covers the birthday greeting, inside message, language and any required age wording. DESIGN includes the flower varieties, vase, butterflies, background colour and complete watercolour artwork.
Size, Standing Angle and Packaging
This design opens to approximately 90 degrees, allowing the rear panel to support the tall bouquet while the lower panel forms the display base. The flowers, vase and birthday wording fold between these panels when the card is closed. Their positions must be planned carefully so that the taller petals and leaves do not extend beyond the outer edges or interfere with the electronic components.Standard packaging can include one card with one matching envelope in an individual OPP bag. Printed sleeves, paper boxes, barcode labels, warning labels and instruction inserts are also available. The envelope and packaging dimensions are confirmed after the functional sample has been approved.
Building the Bouquet Around a 90-Degree Structure
A tall floral arrangement needs support from both the card base and the upright background. During development, the illustration is separated into the vase, foreground flowers, main bouquet and smaller upper blossoms. Folding lines and connection pieces are then added in areas where they remain as discreet as possible. The “Happy Birthday” wording is also positioned so that it remains readable beside the flowers.A structural sample can be prepared first to check the bouquet height, standing balance and closing movement. This development process ensures that the finished 90 degree pop up card displays the watercolour artwork clearly while remaining practical for envelope packing.
Adding Light Without Disturbing the Flowers
The LED, wires, battery and opening switch are planned together with the paper structure. The light must illuminate the intended flower or background area without creating a visible wire path across the pale artwork. Components may be concealed behind the vase, bouquet layers or card panel according to the final design.During production, the electronic parts are prepared before final assembly. Each completed light up greeting card is checked for opening activation, stable illumination, battery connection and smooth closing. If music is included, sound playback and the combined operating sequence are tested at the same time.
