Product Overview
The 2/4-Way Spool Type Solenoid Operated Threaded Cartridge Valve is a solenoid-controlled two-position four-way directional valve with spool construction. It adopts threaded cartridge design and can be mounted inside standard cavities of hydraulic manifold blocks.
Equipped with four fluid ports, this valve controls forward and reverse movement of double-acting hydraulic actuators such as hydraulic cylinders and hydraulic motors. It switches the flow path to change the movement direction of actuators. Different control voltages for solenoid coils are optional. With compact integrated layout, it is widely adopted in modular hydraulic systems for industrial machinery and mobile equipment.

Working Principle
When the solenoid is de-energized, the return spring retains the spool at the original position to maintain the initial oil circuit connection. Once the coil is energized, electromagnetic force pushes the spool to slide axially inside the valve sleeve. The internal flow passages are switched, altering the direction of oil supplied to double-acting cylinders or motors.
After power cut-off, the return spring pushes the spool back to the home position, and the actuator reverses movement or stops as required. It realizes bidirectional motion control of double-acting hydraulic executive components.
