Product Overview
The 3/4-Way Spool Type Solenoid Operated Threaded Cartridge Valve is a solenoid-driven three-position four-way directional control valve with spool structure. It adopts threaded cartridge installation and can be embedded into standard cavities of hydraulic manifold blocks.
Equipped with four oil ports, the valve is used to control bidirectional movement and stop state of double-acting hydraulic cylinders and hydraulic motors. A variety of spool center functions are optional, such as closed center, open center and float center, meeting diverse system design demands. With compact modular structure, it is widely used in integrated hydraulic systems of industrial machinery and mobile equipment.

Working Principle
When both solenoids are de-energized, symmetrical return springs maintain the spool in the neutral middle position, and the hydraulic circuit keeps the status defined by neutral spool function.
When one side solenoid is energized, electromagnetic force pushes the spool to slide axially toward the opposite side, switching internal flow passages to drive the actuator forward. Once the solenoid loses power, the spring pushes the spool back to neutral.
When the other solenoid is energized, the spool slides in the reverse direction, reversing the oil flow and making the actuator move backward. Power-off resets the spool to the middle position to stop movement.
