Product Overview

The WSR-1000M is a multi-function glass installation manipulator: one tracked carrier that changes tool head to suit the job. The suction cup head lifts, extends, turns, tilts and shifts a glass panel, while the winch head and the forklift head are fitted for panel handling and material loading on the same machine.

With the suction cup head the WSR-1000M lifts up to 1000kg to a 5000mm lifting height and extends 2200mm, which covers shopfront glazing, canopy glass, partition glass and interior glass fit-out from a single machine position. The load curve for the machine is published, so the capacity at your own panel weight and reach can be confirmed before you order.

Eight 400mm suction cups run on dual pumps and dual vacuum circuits, with light and acoustic alert indication. A 24V battery gives 6 to 8 working hours per charge, and every movement is electric and wireless remote controlled, so the operator never stands under the glass.

Product Features

1. One carrier, three tool heads. The suction cup head handles glass, the winch head handles panel lifting and the forklift head handles material loading and unloading, so a single machine covers several trades on the same site instead of one machine per job.

2. 1000kg to 5000mm, with the load curve published. Capacity is stated as load against arm extension rather than as one headline figure, and three load curves of 1000kg, 675kg and 350kg are published with the machine, so the rating for your own panel weight and reach can be read off the curve before you order.

3. Eight 400mm suction cups on dual pumps and dual vacuum circuits. The cups are split across two circuits, and light and acoustic alert indication is standard, so a loss of vacuum is raised on the indicator rather than left to be discovered.

4. Full suction frame articulation. 0-180° tilting, 90° side turning on both sides, 100mm side shifting and 150mm up-and-down shifting, all electrically operated, let one operator square a panel to the opening without a second person guiding it.

5. 15° boom rotation widens the working range, so the arm can be swung to reach around an obstruction or to line up with an opening that is not square to the machine.

6. 20% uphill capability with a 24V motor on the front wheel, plus extendable outriggers that level and stabilise the machine before lifting, so it works on site ramps and uneven ground without a separate crane.

7. Electric, wireless remote control of every movement, including lifting, extension, rotating, tilting, side shifting, side turning, boom rotating and outrigger extension, so the operator stands clear of the load at all times.

8. Speed sensibly controlled, so a heavy panel can be moved slowly and a light panel moved at working speed on the same machine.

1. Which tool head should I order, and can I change it later?

The suction cup head is for glass panels, the winch head is for lifting and positioning panels and loads that are not flat, and the forklift head is for loading and unloading material from the carrier. The heads are options on the same carrier, so the machine is specified for the work rather than as a fixed package, and a head can be added later without replacing the machine.

2. How much glass can it lift, and how does the load change?

Up to 1000kg to a 5000mm lifting height with 2200mm of arm extension. The maximum load accords the length of the extended arm, and three load curves of 1000kg, 675kg and 350kg are published with the machine. Send us the panel weight, the panel dimensions and the reach you need and we will read the rating off the curve for you.

3. What happens if a suction cup loses vacuum, and how do I get parts?

The eight 400mm cups run on dual pumps and dual circuits, with light and acoustic alert indication, so a loss of vacuum is raised on the indicator. The machine uses most common hardware parts, so parts can be bought locally from a hardware or forklift parts supplier rather than shipped from us, and if the machine does break down we guide the repair by video and repair instruction. The failure rate is low to begin with.

4. What is the quality guarantee and the battery life span?

One year quality guarantee including the battery; wheels are not included. If it breaks down within one year we send the parts free of charge. The battery life span is up to 4 years if it is maintained according to our maintenance manual, and the machine is supplied as a complete unit by seaworthy flexible packing with delivery in 15-30 days.
