Gear pump 258‑2577

Product Overview

258‑2577 gear pump is a hydraulic drive fan motor assembly, specially developed as a reliable replacement component for CAT skid‑steer loader. Driven by hydraulic power from the hydraulic system, this unit controls the cooling fan rotation to maintain normal operating temperature of the Machine. It adopts high‑precision gear transmission structure, stable oil delivery performance, good pressure resistance, ideal for heavy‑duty construction working conditions.

Technical Specifications

- Part Number: 258‑2577

- Cross reference: 307‑3036

- Product Type: Hydraulic gear pump (fan drive motor)

- Applicable engine: 3044C, C3.4

- Compatible equipment: CAT 259D, 257B, 216B, 226B, 232B, 236B, 242B, 252B, 246, 236D skid‑steer loader

- Function: Hydraulic drive for cooling fan, engine heat dissipation

Working Principle

Pressurized hydraulic oil from the host hydraulic system enters the gear pump. Meshing internal gears convert hydraulic energy into mechanical rotational force, directly driving the cooling fan. It adjusts fan speed following system oil pressure, realizing automatic heat dissipation for the whole machine. Good sealing performance prevents internal leakage and guarantees continuous cooling effect during long‑time machine operation.

Core Advantages

1. Domestic alternative solution, well interchangeable with original 307‑3036, simple installation without extra modification

2. Precision‑manufactured gear pair, low noise, small internal leakage, stable output torque

3. Strong pressure‑bearing capacity, adapted to the complex impact load of construction site

4. Strict raw material and processing control, long service life, effectively reduces equipment downtime and maintenance cost

Application Scope

Widely used in CAT series skid‑steer loader. Installed in engine cooling circuit of the hydraulic system, it serves as the power source of cooling fan, protecting engine from overheating during high‑load operation of the Machine. Suitable for construction site, warehouse handling, earth‑moving and other working scenarios.
