H5 H beam steel

      H-beam is a kind of economic section with more optimized section area distribution and more reasonable ratio of strength and weight. Because all parts of h-beam are arranged at right angles, the h-beam has the advantages of strong bending resistance, simple construction, low cost and light weight in all directions, and has been widely used. The section shape of h-beam is economical and reasonable, the mechanical properties are good, the points on the section extend more evenly and the internal stress is smaller when rolling, compared with the common i-beam steel, the h-beam has the advantages of large section modulus, light weight and metal saving, can reduce the building structure 30 -40% , and because of its legs inside and outside parallel, leg end is right angle, assembly and combination of components, can save welding, riveting work up to 25% . It is often used in large-scale buildings (such as factory buildings, high-rise buildings) , bridges, ships, lifting and transporting machinery, equipment foundations, supports, foundation piles and so on. H-beam is divided into hot-rolled h-beam and welded h-beam. Hot-rolled h-beam is divided into three types: H-beam with wide flange (HM) and h-beam with narrow flange (HN) .
