GL-13199A truck door hinge

This Heavy-Duty Rear Door Strap Hinge (Model GL-13199A) is an industrial-strength hardware component designed for the demanding requirements of commercial truck bodies, dry vans, and shipping containers. Expertly forged from high-tensile steel and finished with a thick zinc-plated coating, this hinge provides exceptional structural integrity and long-term protection against oxidation and road-salt corrosion.

The hinge features a reinforced strap design with a raised central rib, which significantly increases its load-bearing capacity and resistance to bending under the weight of heavy cargo doors. The pivot mechanism is engineered for high-frequency use, utilizing a robust stainless steel pin and specialized nylon bushings to ensure smooth, friction-free 270° rotation while preventing metal-on-metal wear and noise.

Key Features and Specifications:

• Reinforced Steel Construction: Built to withstand the constant vibration and heavy mechanical stress of long-haul logistics.

• Zinc-Plated Finish: Provides a clean, professional aesthetic and superior weather resistance.

• Precision Mounting: Features pre-drilled holes for secure bolt-on installation, allowing for accurate alignment on a variety of trailer door frames.

• Maintenance-Free Design: The integrated bushings eliminate the need for frequent lubrication, reducing fleet downtime.

Whether used for new builds (OEM) or as a reliable replacement for damaged trailer hardware, the GL-13199A-4 offers the durability and performance necessary to keep commercial vehicle doors secure and operational over years of service.
