Product Overview

4WRA/4WRAE Compact Direct-Acting Control Proportional Directional Valves is a high-precision Hydraulic valve for flow and direction regulation. As a core control component of the hydraulic system, it precisely controls the speed and motion direction of actuators on the Machine. 4WRA adopts external amplifier control while 4WRAE comes with integrated on-board electronics (OBE). It is plate-mounted following ISO 4401 standard, available in size 6 and size 10, 4/2-way or 4/3-way configurations. Compact structure, direct proportional solenoid drive, spring-centered spool, widely used for industrial automation machinery, lifting equipment, metallurgical and plastic machinery.

Working Principle

The control signal is sent to the proportional solenoid of this Hydraulic valve. The electromagnetic force pushes the control spool to overcome spring force and shift. The spool opening changes proportionally according to input signal, adjusting flow rate and direction of oil in the hydraulic system. It realizes stepless speed regulation of hydraulic cylinder or hydraulic motor on the Machine. When the electric signal disappears, the centering spring pushes the spool back to neutral position, cutting off oil flow and stopping the actuator.
