EDG Compact Proportional Pressure Relief Valve is a compact direct-acting proportional Hydraulic valve. It can continuously adjust the relief pressure of the hydraulic system according to analog electrical signals and protect the Machine from overpressure damage. Featuring small footprint and simple structure, this proportional pressure valve is widely used for stepless pressure setting and pressure limiting in medium and small flow hydraulic circuits. The integrated coil design simplifies installation, and it can realize remote electric pressure regulation for hydraulic power units, test benches and automated equipment.

Working Principle

The controller outputs analog signal to the proportional solenoid of this Hydraulic valve. The electromagnetic force balances the hydraulic pressure acting on the spool. The relief pressure of the hydraulic system changes proportionally with the input electric signal. When the system pressure exceeds the preset value, the valve opens to discharge excess oil back to tank, maintaining stable pressure for the Machine. Adjusting the electric signal can continuously change the target pressure without manual knob adjustment.
