The Tormek wheel is a fine 600 grit. This is a finishing wheel. Its combination of an extra fine finish with minimal material removal makes it perfect for knives and carving tools.

For those times when a coarser abrasive is called for, please tell us, all range grits are available.

The diamond wheel is for hollow grinding on scissors.

400 # 600# 800# are also availabe.

Sharpen any Material

Diamonds are the hardest abrasive available, and with them it is possible to sharpen not only steel but ceramic and carbide as well. Now, sharpen even more with your Tormek.

Use the round side of the Wheel

Above is the drawing of the diamond wheel, the working area is the R15 round part, to especially sharpen scissors with arc. R numbers can be customized for your sharpening need.

Includes Anti Corrosion Concentrate

For the best results, Tormek recommends using water when sharpening with their diamond wheels. All of our diamond grinding wheels are anti-corrosion,  you can grind your knives or scissors with water. 

These wheels are great for inserts because they have 1 inch of material on the side of the wheel beside the face of the wheel, providing you with a non hollow grind surface.

For the T8

The DE250 Diamond Stone is sized for the  Tormek T7 and 2000 models and measures 10" in diameter and 2" wide. For metric folks, that is 250MM x 50MM.
