Transmission Line Recovery Equipment

This product is an Inchworm unit equipped with an exclusive self walking damping feature for OPGW stringing block retrieval, and this stringing block recovery device will get rid of dangerous long distance manual walking along the overhead optical ground wires to pick up separated pulleys after line laying work. Integrated hydraulic damping buffer units allow the sudden impact during pulley hooking and pulling out to be absorbed, and this MARSHINE Pulley Recovery Device avoids metal collision damage on delicate optical cables as well as lightweight stringing hardware. With adjustable clamping jaws that are able to clamp to standard overhead wire size, this tool is compatible for all single wheel and multi-wheel stringing blocks commonly used in the 110kV-500kV transmission projects.

With a max load of 280kg, the capacity of MARSHINE Self Propelled Recovery Device is high enough to hold a fully loaded multi-groove stringing block with mounting brackets and connecting hardware in one step.

The speed of movement is adjustable from 0.2 m/s to 1.2 m/s, and the unit slows down automatically when a tension increase at the distance from the tower cross arms is detected.

The clamping roller head is adjustable and adapt to OPGW cable outer diameter size ranging from 12mm to 26mm, which are applicative for all the mainstream OPGW sizes in cross country power corriders.

When rigged to a pulley, the integrated hydraulic buffer system delivers 1800 newtons of buffer force to absorb the immediate pulling shocks, which greatly reduces the vibrations that sensitive internal optical fiber cores are exposed to.

The stringing block recovery system runs on a 24 volt lithium power pack providing bidirectional operation for 8 hours in the field and the universal wide voltage chargers recharge the battery under any weather condition in 90 minutes.

After OPWG tension stringing construction is completed, the transmission line stringing block recovery equipment dangles full span stringing block gathering.

This MARSHINE Stringing Block Recovery System collects scattered single wheel pulleys in medium voltage distribution line optical cable line renovation.

The self propelled recovery device runs long river-crossing spans by itself to retrieve abandoned multi-groove stringing blocks.

The cable block recovery tool performs a batch pulley recovery operation for massive new transmission corridor construction work.

The stringing block retriever is designed to recapture broken out of place stringing hardware during post-storm repair and maintenance work on the power grid.
