what is membrane filter press？

A membrane Press Filter is a Filter Press Machine that uses a flexible membrane to squeeze the filter cake and remove the filtered liquid. The diaphragm is made of rubber or elastomeric material and is located on the lower side of the Filtration Plate. When the Filter Presses is closed, the diaphragm is inflated with compressed air or hydraulic oil to apply pressure to the filter cake, separating the liquid from the solids.
