The colors of GL Brake Fluid Dot 4 are mostly yellow, red, and amber, which comply with FMVSS standards in the United States.

Most family cars or SUVs use DOT4 brake fluid, and some performance cars will use higher level DOT5.1. Only some older models still use DOT3. Each model's brake oil pot lid will have a label indicating which type of brake oil is suitable for.

GL's DOT4 brake fluid is a high-performance brake oil fluid with stronger high-temperature resistance to air resistance and better low-temperature flowability. It has a higher boiling point and lower viscosity, which can ensure the stable operation of the braking system in harsh conditions such as extreme cold or heat, making it safer and more reliable.

There are two bottle sizes to choose from -250 milliliters (4.4 US gallons) or 500 milliliters(8.8 US gallons).

There are three types of brake fluid, including alcohol brake fluid, synthetic brake fluid, and Brake Mineral Oil.

DOT 4 brake fluid is a high-quality brake oil recommended for hydraulic braking and clutch systems in all automobiles, commercial vehicles, and motorcycles. This product can be mixed with other ethylene glycol liquids of the same foundation, and is recommended for hydraulic braking and clutch systems of all automobiles, commercial vehicles, and motorcycles designated to use ethylene glycol based DOT 3 or DOT 4 liquids.
