Friction clutch
The friction clutch is the most widely used and the oldest kind of clutch, which is basically composed of four parts: the active part, the driven part, the pressing mechanism and the operating mechanism. The main, the driven part and the pressing mechanism are the basic structures to ensure that the clutch is engaged and can drive the power, and the control mechanism of the clutch is mainly the device to separate the clutch. In the separation process, step on the clutch pedal, first eliminate the free clearance of the clutch in the free stroke, and then produce a separation gap in the working stroke, and the clutch is separated. In the process of engagement, gradually release the clutch pedal, the pressure disc moves forward under the action of the pressure spring, first eliminate the separation gap, and exert sufficient pressure force on the working surface of the pressure disc, driven disc and flywheel; Then the separation bearing moves backward under the action of the return spring, creating a free clearance, and the clutch engages.
Hydraulic clutch
The hydraulic clutch uses fluid (general oil) as the transmission medium, compared with the mechanical clutch, in addition to various changes in transmission characteristics, it also mainly absorbs the vibration and impact caused by the rotation of the drive shaft and the driven shaft.
The structure of the hydraulic clutch comprises an input shaft and a speed increasing gear train; A working fluid flow cavity is composed of an impeller, a driven wheel and an impeller shell; An output shaft with a driven wheel, and the driven wheel and the impeller can be operatively combined; Generally, the impeller shell and impeller are composed of materials with a small specific gravity and a large stress bearing range to reduce centrifugal stress.
