The Galvalume coating is an alloy consisting of approximately 55% aluminium and 45% zinc by weight, which is applied by the continuous hot-dip process.

Galvalume steel sheet combines the best qualities of aluminium and zinc，super corrosion resistance ability. The aluminium-zinc coating provides superior heat reflectivity, which offering at least two times of galvanized, so GL always used for thermal insulation material. It also has good bare edge protection and forming qualities.
