Maintenance of excavator travel motor
1. The planetary gearbox must be filled with Gear oil. After the initial use, the Gear oil shall be replaced every three months, and then the Gear oil shall be replaced every 1-2 years according to different working conditions.
2. After the walking motor has been running for a period of time, the rear cover of the gearbox should be removed and the wear of the gearbox should be checked regularly. If there are any abnormalities, please take photos in a timely manner and send them to the manufacturer for identification, so as to facilitate timely maintenance.
3. During the operation of the traveling motor, the working condition of the system oil circuit and the motor Gear oil should be checked frequently. If the system pressure is found to be abnormally increased, the traveling motor leaks, abnormal temperature rise, vibration noise or abnormal pressure pulsation, the machine should be stopped immediately, and the causes should be found out and the maintenance should be carried out in a timely manner.
4. If the excavator traveling motor is weak or the system is abnormal, stop the excavator immediately to check whether the leakage of the hydraulic motor is normal. If there is a large amount of leakage, the hydraulic motor is damaged and needs to be repaired or replaced.
5. The editor suggests stopping the excavator's walking motor for about 15 minutes after continuous operation for 1-2 hours.
6. The circuit driving the walking motor is equipped with a safety valve. For example, if the hydraulic motor is a radial plunger motor, its overflow pressure setting value does not exceed 22MPa. If the hydraulic motor is a cycloidal hydraulic motor, its overflow pressure does not exceed 17MPa. The overflow valve setting pressure of the plunger motor can reach about 35Mpa according to the requirements of the host equipment.
7. The middle position function of the steering control directional valve in the hydraulic circuit of the control travel must be of the "Y" or "H" type.
8. Regularly check the quality indicators of hydraulic oil. If it exceeds the specified value, the hydraulic oil should be replaced. It is not allowed to mix different types of hydraulic oil, otherwise it will affect the service life of the excavator walking motor
