Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose (HPMC)

(1) Physical and Chemical Properties: Non-toxic, odorless white powder, with a mesh size of 80, high pH stability, varying viscosity grades, and moisture content of around 5%. 

(2) Function: Used as a thickener to enhance water retention. 

(3) Applications: Widely used in the construction industry for tile adhesives, mortars, and plastering, as well as in the hand sanitizers and detergent industries.
