Galvalume steel coil is a material produced by continuous hot-dip galvalume process with hot-rolled steel strip or cold-rolled steel strip as the substrate. Hot Dip Galvalume coil supplied in coil form after coiling. Therefore, galvalume steel sheet (coil) can be divided into hot-rolled galvalume sheet coil and cold-rolled hot-dip galvalume sheet coil. They are mainly used in the fields of construction, household appliances, automobiles, containers, transportation and household industry. Especially in steel structure construction, automobile manufacturing, steel warehouse manufacturing and other industries. Their main characteristics are: strong corrosion resistance, good surface quality, benefit from deep processing, economy and practicality, etc.
Galvalume steel is also called Aluminum-Zinc Alloy Coated Steel, Zincalume steel, aluminized zinc steel (aluzinc steel), SGLC. The galvalume metal is composed of 55% aluminium, 43.4% zinc and 1.6% silicon solidified at 600 ~C. Its whole structure consists of aluminium-iron-silicon-zinc, forming a compact quaternary crystal alloy.From the point of view of the degree of coating, the galvanized steel coil is mainly the zinc plated on the coating, while the coating of the galvalume steel coil not only has zinc, but also has an extra part of aluminum.Galvalume steel sheet (coil) has better atmospheric corrosion resistance.
