A Air-Operated Circulation Drill,reverse circulation drilling machine, also known as an RC rig, is a type of drilling equipment used for mineral exploration and mining. It is designed to drill holes in the surface using a double-wall drill pipe system, allowing collection of rock fragments and cuttings in reverse circulation flow.

The RC rig consists of a drill bit driven by a hydraulic system, a rotating drill pipe driven by the top, and a compressor that provides air pressure to the drill bit. The drill bit is attached to the end of the drill pipe and is designed to break up rock and soil while rotating.

As the bit passes through the ground, cuttings and cuttings are forced into the drill pipe and into the cyclone. The separator separates the cuttings from the air and sends them to the sample collection system for analysis. The air is then recirculated back into the drill pipe to continue the drilling process.
