Product Details

       ASTM A213 T12 and T22 are specifications for seamless ferritic and austenitic alloy steel boiler, superheater and heat exchanger tubes. These tubes are designed for high temperature and high pressure operating conditions.
       ASTM A213 T12 is a low alloy steel containing 1% chromium and 0.5% molybdenum. It has good corrosion resistance, high temperature strength and excellent weldability. This grade is commonly used in power plants, refineries and other industrial applications.
       ASTM A213 T22 is a high alloy steel with 2.25% chromium and 1% molybdenum. Compared to T12, it offers higher strength, better corrosion resistance and improved creep resistance. T22 is commonly used in power plants, petrochemical plants and other high-temperature applications.
       Both T12 and T22 tubes are produced through a seamless manufacturing process and are available in a variety of sizes and thicknesses. They are usually provided in normalizing and tempering states.
       These boiler steel tubes need to meet specific mechanical properties such as tensile strength, yield strength and hardness. They must also comply with dimensional tolerances and undergo various tests, including hydrostatic testing, flaring, flattening and non-destructive testing.
