What is humic acid used for?

Humic acid of plant extract acts as a conditioner for the soil and as a bio-catalyst and bio-stimulant for the plant. Humic acids are an excellent natural and organic way to provide plants and soil with a concentrated dose of essential nutrients, vitamins and trace elements.

What is the color of humic acid?

Humic acids of herbal extract are the major extractable component of soil humic substances. They are dark brown to black in colour; the fraction called fulvic acids is soluble in water under all pH conditions. They remain in solution after removal of humic acid by acidification.

Can humic acid burn plants?

Addition of humic acid to UAN significantly reduces leaf burn at each of the three UAN application rates (15, 25, and 35 gal/acre). Reduction of leaf burn is enhanced as the humic acid/UAN ratio goes up from 10% to 30%. Leaf burn due to foliar application of UAN becomes severer with higher UAN rates.
