Full Product Description: The gate valve bonnet is a critical pressure-retaining component that must withstand full line pressure and cyclic thermal stress. Our forged carbon steel bonnets are produced using closed-die forging technology to achieve superior grain flow alignment, eliminating the porosity risk inherent in casting-based alternatives.
Each bonnet is forged from premium ASTM A105 or ASTM A350 LF2 (low-temp service) billets, normalized and tempered per ASTM A788 requirements. CNC machining ensures precise flange face flatness (≤ 0.05 mm), bore concentricity, and thread accuracy for the stem packing area.
Bolted bonnet design accommodates standard spiral-wound graphite gaskets and accepts standard packing materials (PTFE, graphite, asbestos-free). Available for 2" through 24" gate valves with standard or extended bonnet neck options.
