Product Overview

The WSR-500OR is the compact member of the wheel-type glass lifter range, and it is built around one practical idea: a machine that goes where the work actually is. It rolls on deep-tread off-road solid front tyres driven by a 24V motor, so it drives itself out of mud, gravel, broken paving and a site ramp at up to 20% incline, and then keeps rolling from that ramp straight onto a slab and through a standard doorway without a wheel change or a cleanup. The tyres are solid, so there is no air pressure to lose to a thorn on a rubble-strewn site and no charging or inflation routine between jobs.

It lifts up to 500kg to a 3500mm lifting height with 600mm of arm extension, which covers shopfront glazing, partition glass, interior fit-out and glass canopies. Six Dia.290mm suction cups on dual pumps and dual vacuum circuits hold the panel, and three load curves of 500kg, 375kg and 250kg are published with the machine, so the capacity at your own panel weight and reach can be read off the curve before you order rather than taken on trust.

At 1136kg self weight and 2575 × 800 × 1417mm minimum dimensions it is the lightest machine in the range and it fits where the heavier units cannot: 800mm through a standard doorway, 2575mm into a lift car, and a self weight well inside the floor loading of an ordinary multi-storey slab. Interior fit-out, a shopfront renewal behind a finished facade, or a glass extension on an occupied floor are all jobs it can do.

The hydraulics are electric, and the powered functions are lifting, extension, rotation, tilting and side shifting, with side turning on both sides controlled manually. Light and acoustic alert indication is standard, so a loss of vacuum is raised on the machine rather than left to be discovered.

Product Features
1. Deep-tread off-road solid front tyres, 24V drive, 20% uphill. This is what makes the machine usable on a real site rather than only on a finished floor. The tread bites into mud, gravel, sand and broken paving, and because the tyres are solid there is no air pressure to lose to a thorn on a rubble-strewn site, nothing to inflate at the depot and no puncture waiting in the middle of a shift. A shallow industrial caster spins on a muddy ramp and leaves the operator pushing; this one drives itself out and keeps going.
2. One machine from the site compound to the finished floor. The same deep-tread solid tyres that get it across the ramp also carry it onto a slab and through an 800mm door, so the job does not need two machines and the wheels do not have to be changed between outside and inside. Site access on rough ground and interior fit-out on an occupied floor are normally two different machines and two different deliveries; here it is one machine and one delivery.
3. 1136kg self weight and 2575 × 800 × 1417mm minimum dimensions. This is a machine that goes where the heavier six-cup machines cannot. At 800mm wide it passes a standard doorway, at 2575mm long it fits a lift car or a small site compound, and at 1136kg it is well inside the floor loading of an ordinary multi-storey slab.
4. Six Dia.290mm suction cups on dual pumps and dual circuits, on a 1136kg machine. The cup count is what matters on a single large panel, and this machine carries the same six Dia.290mm cups as the 600kg and 1000kg machines in the range. What it does not carry is their weight, which is the whole point of this one.
5. 500kg to 3500mm, with the load curve published. Three load curves of 500kg, 375kg and 250kg are published with the machine, so the rating for your own panel weight and reach can be read off the curve before you order instead of being taken on trust.
6. Full frame articulation in glass mode: 360° endless rotating, 0-180° tilting, ±50mm side shifting and 90° side turning on both sides, so one operator can bring a panel square to the opening without a second person guiding it.
7. Electric hydraulics with a wired remote control, and speed that is sensibly controlled rather than fixed. The wired handset is a deliberate choice on a machine driven at walking pace across rough ground: it is held in the hand rather than carried loose, it does not drop mid-lift, and the operator can slow the drive to a crawl for final positioning instead of running at one speed.
8. Light and acoustic alert indication. A loss of vacuum is raised on the machine as well as being visible to the operator, which matters on an interior fit-out where the panel is between the operator and the room rather than high above them.
9. DC12V-100Ah × 2 battery packs with AC220V / 110V-240V charging give 6-8h of working time, so a full shift runs on one charge and the machine charges from the same site supply that drives it.

Product Summary
The WSR-500OR is a compact wheel-type glass lifter rated to 500kg at a 3500mm lifting height with 600mm of arm extension, built around one practical idea: a machine that goes where the work actually is. It runs on deep-tread off-road solid front tyres on a 24V motor with 20% uphill capability, so it drives itself out of mud, gravel and broken paving and then keeps rolling from the site ramp straight onto a slab and through a standard doorway without a wheel change, a puncture or a cleanup. At 1136kg self weight and 2575 × 800 × 1417mm minimum dimensions it is the lightest machine in the range, which means one unit covers both site access on rough ground and interior fit-out on an occupied floor instead of two machines and two deliveries. Six Dia.290mm suction cups on dual pumps and dual vacuum circuits hold the panel, and three load curves of 500kg, 375kg and 250kg are published so the capacity for your own panel can be confirmed against the curve before you order. The frame gives 360° endless rotation, 0-180° tilting, ±50mm side shifting and 90° side turning on both sides; the hydraulics are electric and the powered functions are controlled from a wired remote handset; speed is sensibly controlled rather than fixed; and light and acoustic alert indication is standard. Batteries are DC12V-100Ah × 2 with 6-8h of working time. It is CE certified, backed by a 1-year warranty including the battery, and supplied as a complete unit with charger and remote control. Send us your heaviest panel, the panel dimensions, the height you need to reach, the roughest ground you have to cross and your access route, and we will confirm the capacity from the load chart and whether the machine fits your doorway and floor.

FAQ
1. Can it actually work on rough ground, or only on a smooth floor?
It is built for rough ground. The front tyres are deep-tread off-road solid types on a 24V motor, and the machine is rated to 20% uphill with high performance to rough terrain driving, so it drives itself out of mud, gravel, sand and broken paving rather than being pushed. The solid construction also means no puncture from a thorn and no inflation routine between jobs. Please tell us the worst ground you expect — a slope angle, a gravel approach or an unpaved site road — and we will confirm the machine suits it.
2. How much glass can it lift, and how does the load change?
Up to 500kg to a 3500mm lifting height with 600mm of arm extension. The maximum load accords the length of the extended arm, and three load curves of 500kg, 375kg and 250kg are published with the machine. Send us the panel weight, the panel dimensions and the height you need, and we will read the rating off the curve for you.
3. Will it fit through our door and onto our floor?
Minimum dimensions are 2575 × 800 × 1417mm and self weight is 1136kg. That is 800mm wide, so it passes a standard doorway and fits a lift car, and 1136kg is well inside the floor loading of an ordinary multi-storey slab, which is where the heavier machines in this range become a problem. Because the same deep-tread solid tyres that get it across the site also carry it indoors, the interior work does not need a second machine. Please confirm your doorway width, your access route, the lift dimensions if you need one and the floor loading, and we will check the machine against them before shipment.
4. What size of panel can the suction cups hold, and how is the machine operated?
Six Dia.290mm cups are fitted, spread across the head and fed by dual pumps and dual vacuum circuits, which suits large rectangular panels rather than small square units. The frame gives 360° endless rotating, 0-180° tilting, ±50mm side shifting and 90° side turning on both sides. The hydraulics are electric and the powered functions — lifting, extension, rotation, tilting and side shifting — are controlled from a wired remote handset, while side turning is manual. Light and acoustic alert indication is standard. The machine uses most common hardware parts, so parts can be bought locally rather than shipped from us, and if it breaks down we guide the repair by video and repair instruction. One year quality guarantee including the battery; if it breaks down within one year we send the parts free of charge.
