This multi-cavity mold was designed and manufactured for the mass production of small, high-precision plastic components. With multi-cavity operating simultaneously, achieving dimensional accuracy and consistency across all parts was the primary engineering challenge. To ensure stability during molding, our team focused on precise cavity alignment and optimized cooling channel design. Uniform temperature distribution is critical in multi-cavity molds of this scale — it directly influences shrinkage, part flatness, and overall appearance. By applying advanced machining techniques and fine-tuning the cooling layout, we achieved exceptional repeatability throughout every cycle.

A high-performance S136 steel was selected to guarantee long tool life and excellent polishability. The gating system was carefully balanced to maintain equal filling pressure in all cavities, reducing the risk of flow marks or flash. This project once again demonstrates our ability to deliver complex, multi-cavity molds that meet the high standards required for industrial and consumer product applications — combining precision engineering, reliability, and efficiency in every detail.
