Haval's new energy off-road SUV Haval Raptor can be called an extremely important model in Great Wall Motors' Hi4 technology system. The Haval Raptor equipped with Hi4 uses Hi4 technology to relocate the front-wheel drive motor in the original hybrid electric four-wheel drive system to the rear axle. And the generator integrated in the DHT plug-in hybrid transmission is placed on the rear axle, achieving the high performance of four-wheel drive and the economy of two-wheel drive. At the same time, the Haval Raptor is also equipped with a rear axle differential lock, which can achieve 100% torque output to the rear axle wheels, making it the strongest off-road performance among Haval Electric Car.

The Haval Raptor has good off-road performance and energy efficiency. The Haval Raptor's front axle engine power reaches 70 kilowatts, and the rear axle engine power reaches 150 kilowatts. Combined with the 1.5T hybrid special motor with the best thermal efficiency of 41.5% and iTVC intelligent power distribution, the comprehensive power of the Haval Raptor power system can directly reach 282 kilowatts, and the combined system torque can reach 750 N·m. In addition, when fully charged and with a pure electric range of 145 kilometers supported by NEDC, the Haval Raptor's total fuel consumption per 100 kilometers can reach an astonishing minimum of 1.15 liters!

At first glance, the rugged design is a hallmark of the Raptor and its "brother" the Dargo. The dimensions of the new crossover are 4680x1916x1822 mm, with a wheelbase of 2738 mm and a ground clearance of 170 mm, already taking into account the full load. If you drive lightly, ground clearance increases to 200mm. This SUV can easily conquer shoals up to 560mm deep and doesn't even care about dirt roads.

The trunk volume of the Haval Raptor is 586 liters. You can sacrifice interior space and fold the seat backs for a total of 1404 liters of luggage space.

The base version is represented by the hybrid Hi4 system, which consists of a 1,5-liter petrol engine and two electric motors. The total power of the power plant is 377 hp, powered by a battery with a capacity of 19,09 kWh. If driven in pure electric mode, a used car can last about 102 kilometers on a single charge.

The second version is more powerful. Its power plant has a capacity of 383 kW and uses batteries with a capacity of 27,54 kWh. The pure electric cruising range is 145 kilometers. Both trim levels have the same torque and petrol consumption – 750 Nm and 6 L/100 km.

The interior of the Great Wall Haval Raptor SUV EV is equipped with a 14.6-inch touch screen for multimedia and navigation. Directly in front of the driver is a 12,3-inch digital instrument panel. Electronics are powered by the powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chip: responsiveness is instant.

Among the interesting things we note a 540-degree panoramic system, a premium audio system with 8 or 10 speakers, depending on the configuration. There's adaptive cruise control, four cupholders, a center tunnel with built-in heating and a W-HUD head-up display.
