(1) Super Absorbent Polymer
There are two types of industrialized Super Absorbent Polymers: one is hydrophilic polymers attached to starch or cellulose skeleton, such as acrylonitrile grafting polymerization and then hydrolysis of corn starch; the second type is synthetic cross-linked sodium polyacrylate. The former type has high water absorption, low raw material cost, and microbial degradation characteristics. The latter water absorption is low, high cost of raw materials, and not easy to be microbial degradation and corruption, both have been industrialized production.
(2) Polymerized Ferrous Sulfate
Ferrous sulfate polymerization is a kind of inorganic polymer coagulant with superior performance, the morphology and properties are light yellow amorphous powdery solid, very soluble in water, 10% (quality) of the aqueous solution is reddish brown transparent solution, hygroscopicity. Ferrous sulfate polymerization is widely used in the purification and treatment of drinking water, industrial water, all kinds of industrial wastewater, municipal wastewater, sludge dewatering and so on.
