How to use an inhaler spacer

Using an inhaler spacer can help improve the effectiveness of your medication and reduce the risk of side effects. Here's how to use an inhaler spacer:

1. Shake the inhaler well before use.

2. Insert the inhaler into the spacer chamber. Make sure it fits securely.

3. Place the mask over your mouth and nose and make sure it completely sealed.

4. Press down on the bottom of the inhaler to release the medication into the spacer chamber.

5. Breathe in slowly and deeply through your mouth to allow the medication to be absorbed into your lungs.

6. If you need to take another puff, repeat the process for at least 30 seconds after the previous one.

7 After using the spacer, rinse your mouth with clean water to prevent any potential side effects.
