Introduction to sulfur autotrophic denitrification filter media:

The application of sulfur autotrophic denitrification filter material in the denitrification process uses elemental sulfur and iron composite minerals as filter materials in the denitrification filter tank. The composite filter material not only has the function of intercepting suspended pollutants, but also acts as a slow-release electron donor to drive the attached autotrophic denitrifying bacteria to achieve denitrification. The selected composite filter media include two types that can produce acid and alkali in the denitrification process. Through the optimization design of the composite ratio, the pH value in the denitrification process can always be maintained within a certain range, thereby achieving a higher denitrification rate and meeting the requirements of the effluent pH value and sulfur autotrophic denitrification filter media indicators:
