A182 alloy round steel bar is a standard specification for forged or rolled alloy and stainless steel materials, used for manufacturing pipe flanges, forged fittings, valves, fasteners and parts for high-temperature service applications. There are many grades of A182, such as F11, F22, F304.

A182 F22 grade the manufacture process are as below:

Open hearth furnaces
Electric furnaces
Basis -oxygen process (with the option of separate degassing and refining processes)
