ASTM A53 Welded Steel Tube

ASTM A53 Steel tube, It is defined by the ASTM as a “standard specification for pipe, steel, black and hot-dipped, zinc-coated, welded and seamless.” A53 welded steel pipe is used in mechanical and pressure applications. A53 steel tube is suitable for welding and for forming operations involving coiling, bending, and flanging, subject to certain qualifications.

A53 steel tube has three types, there are type F (Furnace Butt Weld ), type E (Electric-Resistance Weld), type S (Seamless steel pipe). Both Type E and Type S are made up of two grades, A & B.
