4140 steel is a Chromium-Molybdenum through-hardening steel of medium hardenability. It is a general purpose high-tensile steel with medium strength level and good impact properties.

Cold finished steel is cold drawn or cold rolled by hot rolled steel. It is typically produced as turned bars or cold drawn bars. Cold drawn steel bar is accomplished by cold drawing a bar through a mould. By cold drawing, the dimensional tolerances, the straightness and the surface roughness of the bars will be improved. In the meanwhile, the mechanical properties will be enhanced, too.
