Product details

Carbon raiser is added to molten metal in steelmaking and casting processes to increase the carbon content, which improves the quality and properties of the final product. Carbon raiser also helps to reduce the melting temperature and improve the fluidity of the molten metal, which makes the casting process easier and more efficient.Calcined petroleum coke (CPC) is the most commonly used carbon raiser in steelmaking and casting industries. It is produced by heating green petroleum coke to high temperatures in a rotary kiln. The process removes moisture, volatile matter, and other impurities from the coke, leaving a high carbon content product that is suitable for use as a carbon raiser.
