The WSR-600XR is a heavy-duty wheel-type glass vacuum lifter built for large panels and long working days. Six Dia.290mm suction cups sit on dual pumps and dual vacuum circuits, so the load is spread across a wide panel instead of being held at two or four small points, and the whole machine weighs 1686.5kg with a published load curve rather than a single headline capacity.

 

In glass mode it lifts up to 600kg to a 5000mm lifting height with 1400mm + 600mm of arm extension, which covers façade panels, curtain wall units, shopfront glazing and interior glass fit-out. Four load curves of 600kg, 400kg, 250kg and 130kg are published with the machine, and 350kg is marked at the top of the 5m graph, so the rating for your own panel weight and reach can be read off the curve before you order.

 

The suction cup head is removable and can be replaced with a hook, so when the load is not a flat panel the same 600kg machine lifts a coil, a duct, a bucket or a pallet instead of glass. The boom, the frame articulation and the drive stay the same, which means one machine covers the glass run and the material run on the same site.

The drive is a 24V motor on the front wheel with 20% uphill capability and rough-terrain performance, the hydraulics are electric, and five functions are electrically operated: lifting, extension, rotation, tilting and side shifting, with side turning on both sides controlled manually. Light and acoustic alert indication is standard, so a loss of vacuum is raised on the machine rather than left to be discovered.

1. Six Dia.290mm suction cups on dual pumps and dual circuits. The cups are spread across the head rather than clustered, so a large panel is carried across its width and the machine does not depend on two small cups holding a heavy glass edge. Dual circuits mean a leak on one side does not take the whole panel down.

 

2. The suction cup head comes off and a hook goes on. The head is removable from the boom, so the six-cup glass head can be taken off and replaced with a hook when the load is not a flat panel — a coil, a duct, a bucket, a pallet or anything else that can be slung. The boom, the frame articulation, the drive and the 600kg rating stay the same, so the machine is not tied to glass even though it is sold as a glass lifter. One machine covers the glass run and the material run on the same site.

 

3. 600kg to 5000mm, with the load curve published. Four load curves of 600kg, 400kg, 250kg and 130kg are published with the machine, and 350kg is marked at the top of the 5m graph, so the rating for your own panel weight and reach can be read off the curve before you order instead of being taken on trust.

 

4. 1400mm + 600mm of arm extension. This is the reach that puts a panel at 5m without moving the machine, so on a façade or an atrium the machine stays in one position while the height is worked through, which cuts the number of machine moves on a typical panel run.

 

5. 20% uphill capability with a 24V motor on the front wheel, and the machine is built for rough terrain driving, so it is positioned under power on site ramps, uneven ground and unfinished surfaces instead of being pushed or winched into place.

 

6. Full frame articulation in glass mode: 360° endless rotating, tilting 30° upwards and 90° downwards, ±100mm side shifting and 80° side turning on both sides, so one operator can bring a panel square to the opening without a second person guiding it.

 

7. Light and acoustic alert indication. A loss of vacuum is raised on the machine as well as being visible to the operator, which matters when the panel is at height and nobody is looking at the cups.

 

8. Electric hydraulics with a wired remote control. The wired handset is a deliberate choice on a machine of this size: it is held in the hand rather than carried loose, it does not drop mid-lift, and it still controls the powered functions with the operator standing clear of the load.

 

9. DC12V-100Ah × 2 battery packs with AC220V / 110V-240V charging give 6-8h of work time, so a full shift runs on one charge and the machine charges from the same site supply.

3. Can the suction cup head be changed to a hook?
Yes. The suction cup head is removable from the boom and can be replaced with a hook, so the load does not have to be a flat glass panel. Typical hook work includes coils, ducting, buckets, pallets, drums and other slung loads, and the boom, the frame articulation, the drive and the 600kg rating stay the same. 4. Can it work on ramps, slopes and unfinished ground, and will it fit through our door?

5. How is the machine operated, and what is the warranty?
The hydraulics are electric and the five electric functions — lifting, extension, rotation, tilting and side shifting — are controlled from a wired remote handset, while side turning is manual. Light and acoustic alert indication is standard. The machine uses most common hardware parts, so parts can be bought locally rather than shipped from us, and if it breaks down we guide the repair by video and repair instruction.
