Tetra-n-butylammonium tetrafluoroborate Cas: 429-42-5, commonly referred to as "TBATFB" or "TBA-TFB", Tetrabutylammonium tetrafluoroborate (TBABF4) is an organic metal compound that can be used as an organic synthesis reagent or electrolyte additive. When TBABF4 is added to a low concentration tetrahydrofuran (THF) ether electrolyte, it can be used to enhance the interfacial stability of lithium metal batteries.
