Unlike basic pressure cookers, the EPC965 comes with 12 dedicated preset functions, covering all common cooking needs: Rice, Soup, Beef, Chicken, Pork, Stew, Steam, Porridge, Cake, Yogurt, Slow Cook, and Quick Cook. Each preset is calibrated to the optimal pressure and time for the ingredient—for example, the "Meat" setting uses high pressure (80kpa) to tenderize tough cuts in 30 minutes, while the "Steam" setting uses low pressure (10kpa) to preserve nutrients in vegetables and fish.
