What is No Wrench Srew Anchor Rod?
No Wrench Screw Anchor Rod is a type of helical anchor rod with a helix pile used in pole line hardware installations. Used for guying wires at utility poles. Anchors are installed by simply turning anchor into ground. No Wrench Anchors may be driven by hand or with power equipment. Eye dimensions are the same as Anchor Rods. Screw anchors consist of an unthreaded triple eye rod with an angled point, and a firmly welded helix. 8" - Wrench anchor into drive head tool and secure. Helix is 1/4" thick. Hot dip galvanized to meet ASTM Specification A153, Class C. helix anchor, twist anchor, screw anchor.

Installation of No Wrench Srew Anchor Welded Helix
No Wrench Screw Anchor Rod Procedure:
The Kelly bar adapter should be attached to the output shaft or the digger’s Kelly bar.
The power installation no-wrench tool should be bolted to the Kelly bar adapter.
Appropriate pins located in the anchor installation tool to be removed. The anchor rod-eye to be inserted into the tool and the appropriate setting re-pinned.
The wrench anchor to be driven at a vertical position. When the anchor’s helix submerges in the ground, the boom needs to be retracted to the accurate guy angle.
Note:
No-Wrench Screw Anchor can be installed in most types of soil.
It takes 8-10 minutes for the power-installed screw anchor to install when the wrench anchor is connected to the auger flight or Kelly bar of the digger and an arrangement of a locking dog supporting the anchor.
The screw anchor can be installed with a three-half foot rod or the 7-foot rod. It is possible to use either the 7 or 3 ½ foot rod. It is recommended to make a maximum of 14-feet of installing depth to support tool recovery.
