MIF1201RL——12mm diameter bi-directional ball screw

The left and right-hand ball screw, also known as the positive and negative threaded screw rod or the bidirectional screw rod, has a left-handed thread on one end and a right-handed thread on the other end. The two nuts on one rod can achieve simultaneous movement in opposite directions. This special thread design is crucial in many mechanical transmission and positioning application scenarios. For example, in some mechanical devices that require bidirectional synchronous adjustment or relative motion control, the left and right-handed screw rod shows excellent performance and applicability.

Features of bi-directional ball screws:

1. Outside diameter of screw shaft:

The outside diameter of the bidirectional ball screw shaft is generally 6mm-100mm, and different diameters can be selected according to the different occasions and loads. The larger the outer diameter, the stronger its rigidity and load capacity.

2. Pitch:

Pitch is one of the important parameters of a bi-directional ball screw, which is mainly used to determine the thread length of each turn. The larger the pitch, the easier it is for the screw to rotate quickly, but the accuracy will decrease.

3. Lead:

The lead of the ball screws refers to the length of each spiral thread and generally refers to the number of rotations required by each thread. The larger the lead of the ball screw, the longer the thread per turn, and the higher the accuracy, but the input and output speed is slower.
