SLT016—16mm diameter ball spline

The SLT series ball spline features a cylindrical spline nut equipped with a keyway. You can choose high-performance ball splines of shaft diameters from 6mm to 50mm. The steel ball spline nuts are ingeniously crafted with recirculating ball tracks, enabling the linear transmission of torque along the raceway of the linear spline shaft. The rotating ball spline is capable of generating dynamic forces reaching up to 4,086 kgf and static forces as high as 5,615 kgf. The maximum allowable length for the shaft is 3,000mm. Feature of Hojama Ball Splines:

1. Transmission of torque

In the ball spline mechanism, the steel balls, which travel on the angular contact groove, enable the relative movement between the ball spline nut and the spline screw. This interaction is crucial as it allows for the efficient transmission of torque, ensuring the proper functioning of the linear motion ball spline system.

2. Integral structure

The combination of the ball spline nut and support shaft within the Ball Spline system enables it to attain a high level of precision.

3. Installation

The high-precision ball spline features an optimized retainer design. This design permits the nut to be detached from the spline shaft with ease. Meanwhile, it ensures that the steel balls stay firmly in place within the nut, enhancing the convenience and reliability of the precise ball spline assembly and maintenance.

4. Lubricant path

The ball spline is equipped with an optimized lubricant path. This path enables the grease to be directly channeled to the ball track.
