Organic phosphine series scale and corrosion inhibitors - Ethylenediamine Tetramethylphosphonate Sodium, EDTMPS,also be called Ethylene Diamine Tetra (Methylene Phosphonic Acid) Sodium Salt,CAS No.22036-77-7 ,its Molecular formula is C6H12O12N2P4Na8 and Relative molecular weight is 611.98. EDTMPS is a nitrogen-containing organic polyphosphate salt, belonging to cathodic corrosion inhibitors. Compared with inorganic polyphosphates, its corrosion inhibition rate is 3-5 times higher. It is miscible with water, non-toxic and pollution-free, with good chemical stability and temperature resistance, and still has good scale inhibition effect at 200 ℃. In aqueous solution, EDTMPS can dissociate into 8 positive and negative ions, which can chelate with multiple metal ions to form multiple monomer structured macromolecular network complexes. These complexes are loosely dispersed in water, disrupting the normal crystallization of calcium scales. Additionally, EDTMPS Cas:22036-77-7 has good scale inhibition effects on calcium sulfate and barium sulfate scales.
